A هیژه التابون Insurance Authority تعليم الرقم: ت.ع.م 202501/301 م 2025/1/19 : التاریخ Dear CEO, Dear CCO, Greetings, With reference to the powers bestowed to the Insurance Authority based on the Council of Ministers Decision No. (85) dated 28/01/1445AH, provisions of the Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/32) dated 02/06/1424AH, and Cooperative Health Insurance Law Issued by Royal Decree No. (M/10) dated 01/05/1420AH, and reference to the decision on regulatory incentives for the insurance sector to address the effects of COVID-19 pandemic No. (41/189) dated 15/09/1441AH, IA Decision No. (04/202407) dated 15/07/2024 regarding the amendment of the Online Insurance Activities Regulation, and Circular No. (5/201007) dated 07/08/1413AH regarding the calculation of the provision for doubtful debts, and Circular No. (276/202401) dated 11/01/2024AD, the circular No. (1335) dated 15/03/2020AD, and the circular No. (1399) dated 26/03/2020AD. We would like to inform you with the issuance of the decision NO. (05/202501) dated 19/01/2025AD of the authorized which included the following: 01. the suspension of the implementation of clause 3 of Decision No. (441/189) dated 15/09/144IAH, regarding regulatory incentives for the insurance sector to address the effects of COVID-19 pandemic, and the resumption of regulations, rules, standards, instructions, and decisions issued by the IA. 02. regarding clause 2, 5 and 6 of Decision No. (441/189) dated 15/9/144IAH will remain in force, in accordance with provisions stated in Circular No. (276/202401) dated 11/01/2024AD. 03. the suspension, of the sections 2,3 and 4 of the circular No. (1399) dated 26/03/2020AD regarding the process of re-dispensing Medicines to the insured, especially those suffering from chronic diseases, as well as the suspension of the circular No. (1335) dated 15/03/2020AD regarding taking all health measures related to screening, diagnosis, treatment and isolation of all cases suspected of infection with the (COVID-19) until the completion of its treatment in the government hospitals.
