Subject: The importance of ensuring that the validity of the visas for citizens' passengers has started, before issuing the boarding pass and at the boarding gate. Reference: 1. Article No. (23) of the Civil Aviation Law. Background: Due to the number of cases for citizens' passengers whom were denied entry to some countries by the concerned authorities at the airports, due to the validity of their issued visas that has not started yet. Instructions: 1. All airlines must ensure that the validity of the visas issued to citizen passengers has started, before issuing the boarding pass and at the boarding gate. 2. Failure to comply with circulars issued by GACA is an explicit violation of Government's orders; Legal procedures shall be initiated against the violators who will be held responsible.
