تعميم GACA Circular To: All airlines operating in the airports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Private Aviation. Subject: Responsibility for taking care of pets accompanying with passengers coming to the Kingdom without prior permission. Reference: 1. Article 23 of the Civil Aviation Law. 2. GACA Circular No. (16287/4) dated 22/10/2020. الي: جميع شركات الطيران العامله بمطارات المملكه بما يشمل الطيران الخاص. الموضوع: مسؤوليه العنايه بالحيوانات الاليفه المصطحبه مع المسافرين القادمين الي المملكه بدون اذن مسبق. المرجع: 1. الماده (٢٣) من نظام الطيران المدني. ٢. تعميم رقم (٢٦٨٧/٤) وتاريخ ٥٠/٢٤. Instructions: - All airlines must not transport any animal or plant, either accompanying passengers or shipped as air cargo, without obtaining a prior import permit from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, as per the approved regulations and requirements. If any consignment arrives without prior permission or not in compliance with the approved requirements and specifications, it will be returned to the place of origin, and the responsibility for caring and feeding the pets shall be on the carrier or the owner of the animal until they are returned to place the origin. - Failure to comply with circulars issued by GACA is an explicit violation of Government's orders. Legal procedures shall be initiated against violators who will be held responsible.
