To: All GACA Certificated Repair Stations and all Air Operators Performing X-Ray Non-Destructive Testing (X-Ray NDT) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Subject: Requirement to obtain appropriate authorization from the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission
Reference:
Letter of Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (41200702 dated Dec 10 \( ^{th} \) 2019)
Background:
Mandate of obtaining appropriate authorizations for performing X-Ray Non-Destructive Testing from the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission
Instructions:
1. All GACA Certificated Repair Stations and Air Operators performing X-Ray Non-Destructive Testing within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, must apply to the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission to obtain the required authorizations.
2. Applicants for GACA Repair Station or Air Operator Certificates who intend to practice X-Ray Non-Destructive Testing in maintenance operations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, must apply to the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission to obtain the required authorizations.
3. Obtaining the above license does not mean that non-destructive examinations can be carried out on aircraft and their parts, as this requires a limited and approved classification in the operating specifications of the repair stations, issued by the GACA for the exercise of activity.

اعمال الصيانه
التعليمات:
1. علي جميع محطات الاصلاح واللشغلين الجويين المرخصين من قبل الهينه
الذين يقومون بbmمارسه الفحص الاللاتيه باستخدام الاشعه السينيه في
اعمال الصيانه في اقليم المملكه العربيه السعوديه التقدم الي هييه المرقابه
النوويه والاشعاعيه للحصول علي الترخيص المطلوب
2. علي جميع المتقدمين بطلبات الحصول علي تراخيص محطات الاصلاح او
تراخيص مشغلين جويين من قبل الهينه العامه للطيران المدني والذين
يعتزمون القيام ب��مارسه الفحص conاللاتي باستخدام الاشعه السينيه في
اعمال الصيانه في اقليم المملكه العربيه السعوديه التقدم الي هييه المرقابه
النوويه والاشعاعيه للحصول علي الترخيص المطلوب.
الحصول علي الترخيص اعلامه لا يعني امكانيه ممارسه الفحوص
اللاتلافيه علي الطايرات وقطعها حيث يتطلب ذلك الحصول علي
تصنيف محمد وعتمد في المواصفات التشغيليه لمحطات الاصلاح المرخصه
من قبل الهينه العامه للطيران المدني لمارسه النشاط.
