Subject: Approval of antigen test results and entry of all results in the HESN system. Reference: Article 23 of the Civil Aviation Act. Instructions: The General Authority of Civil Aviation would like to inform that all laboratories accredited by the Public Health Authority of Saudi Arabia for testing Covid-19 must adopt the following procedures: - Antigen tests results are approved provided it meet the requirements of the country to which a passenger is intending to travel. The test result must be entered into the HESN system. - The accredited laboratories' systems must be enabled for entry of the test results into the HESN system so that when a result is issued, the type of test conducted, either (Rapid test) or (PCR test), is clearly identifiable. - In the event of a positive result, the protocols issued by the Public Health Authority must be obeyed. - Failure to comply with circulars issued by GACA is an explicit violation of Government's orders. Legal procedures shall be initiated against violators who will be held responsible. Attachment(s): Nil.
