Subject: The allowed quantities of tobacco products imported by travelers. Reference: Letter of the Saudi Customs No. (184/40/079527) dated in 8/6/1440. Background: The Saudi Customs noted that some travelers have imported tobacco products in quantities exceeding the amount of personal use. According to the Common Customs law of the GCC States, the allowed quantities to import is 200 cigarettes and 500 grams of other types of tobacco. Instructions: All Air Carriers must clarify on their booking sites and on board the allowed quantities of tobacco products that passengers can import into the country. Moreover, inform them that they can be held responsible for violating the customs laws.
