of Health Insurance to the Insurance Authority

Greetings,
Reference to the Cabinet Decision No. (85) dated 28/01/1444AH regarding the establishment of the Insurance Authority, and in reference to the "second" provision of the Decision, which stipulates that "the Insurance Authority exercises all competencies and responsibilities related to the insurance sector, contained in the Cooperative Health Insurance Law, issued by Royal Decree No. (M/10) dated 01/05/1420AH, and the Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law, issued by Royal Decree No. (M/32) dated 02/06/1424AH, provided that the Authority develops a mechanism for coordination with the Council of Health Insurance - within a period not exceeding (three) years from the decision approval date - to transfer all competencies and responsibilities related to the insurance sector, contained in the Cooperative Health Insurance Law". And in reference to the Insurance Authority's circular No. 272/2023I dated 23/11/2023G, which includes the Insurance Authority's email addresses.

in accordance with Cabinet Decision No. (85) from the Council of Health Insurance and the Saudi Central Bank have been transferred to the Insurance Authority as of 04/03/2024G, with the continued enforcement of all statutory provisions related to insurance issued by the Council of Health Insurance in accordance with the Cooperative Health Insurance Law and its Implementing Regulation.
Accordingly, companies operating in the insurance sector must comply with the following:
1- Requests for approvals to qualify insurance companies operating in the Kingdom in the health insurance class and claims settlement companies practicing their activities in the health insurance class shall be submitted via e-mail: LIC@IA.GOV.SA.
2- The relevant supervisory requests - according to the same mechanism followed with the Council of Health Insurance - shall be submitted via e-mail: SUP@IA.GOV.SA.

- رفع طلبات الموافقات علي تاهيل شركات التامين
العامله في المملكه في فروع التامين الصحي
وشركات تسويه المطلبات المزاوله نشاطها في فروع
