Schedule [3A1]: Customer Sited Interconnection Link Service (IP Interconnection Service)
Physical linking of an operator's IP network with the IP equipment or facilities that belong to another operator's network. It will allow customers to make an IP call, enabling all the features of enriched calling, to another subscriber on another IP network. It is the linking of two or more operators' networks, either domestically within a country or internationally, so that the calls remain entirely on IP network infrastructure and do not fall back to older legacy services during call routing. For the avoidance of doubt, the following aspects shall be considered in providing the IP Interconnection Link Service:
- The IP Interconnection Links will be used for the conveyance (termination) of the OLO's traffic into stc network.
- Until routes are mature and traffic volumes become stable, the IP Interconnection routes will be unidirectional.
- In some specific cases and based on OLOs request due to technical limitations, bi-directional operation of these routes will be considered and the proper pricing for such bi-directional routes will be bespoke accordingly, factors that may impacts bi-directional pricing are as follow:
○ Capacity of the IP Interconnection link(s).
○ Capacity of the IP Interconnection Port(s).
○ Volume of exchanged traffic between operators on same bi-directional link(s).

Wholesale Incoming International Voice Call traffic is treated in the same way as stc treats National traffic originated within the Kingdom on the stc network. stc will therefore pay to the Other Licensed Operator call termination charges in accordance with the agreed rate for stc to OLO call termination as stated in the Interconnection Agreement.
Where the international settlement rate received by stc is less than the call termination charge paid by stc to the OLO, stc may apply an additional charge to recover the difference between the settlement and the termination charge in addition to stc's applicable conveyance costs.
