A التحيه Insurance Authority تعمي الترجب: 2024/24 Dear CEO, Dear CCO, Greetings, Reference to the Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/19) dated 9/2/1443 AH and its implementing regulations, reference to responsibilities of the Insurance Authority issued by Council of Ministers' Resolution No. (85) dated 15/08/2023AD particularly, paragraph (5) of article four which states: "The Authority is the entity in charge of regulating, supervising, monitoring, and developing insurance activities in the Kingdom. It shall, in addition to its functions as prescribed by law and without prejudice to the functions and responsibilities of other agencies, undertake what it deems necessary to achieve its objectives, including the following: 5- Developing procedures for collecting, maintaining, and using insurance data as well as setting a mechanism for benefiting therefrom, in accordance with legal procedures.", and following up to Circular No. /256/202212 dated 14\12\2022AD, which requested companies to obtain a no-objection from the Authority before connecting with any electronic platform, and reference to Circular No. (280) dated 09/28/2021 AD regarding the protection of personal data and prohibition of sharing with any party. We would like to bring to the attention to all licensed persons by the Authority the prohibition of connecting with any electronic platform, and sharing insurance data or information with any other party without obtaining prior no-objection from the Authority. Companies must fill out the data usage and share form (attached) and send it to the Authority via email المعتزم المعتزم المعتزم المعتزم السلم عليكم وحره الله وبركاته، اشاره الي مامن نظام حمايه البيانات الشخصيه الصادر بموجب المكس رقم (م/2019) وتاریخ 1443/2/9 ه- ولوايحه التنفيذيه، واشاره الي اختصاصات هييه التامين الوارده في تنظيمها الصادر بموجب ق-رار مجلس الوزاره رقم (85) وتاریخ (5) ما تضمنته الفقره (5) من الم-اده الرابعه ونشها "الهييه هي الجهه المعنيه بتنظيم اعمال التامين في المملكه والشرايف والرقابه عليها وظهرها، ولها -بلااضفه الي اختصاصاتها المق-ره نظاما ودون اخلاب باختصاصات ومس-ؤوليات الجهات الاخري- القيام بكل ما يلزم to تحقيق اهدافها، ومن ذلك ما يت-بي: 5- وضع اجراءات جمع البيانات التامينيه، وحفظها، واستخدامها، واليه الاستفاده منها، وفقا للاجراءات النظاميه. واحاقا بالتعميم رقم ت.ع.م 2022/256/م وتاریخ 2022/12/14 م.م.م المتضمن الازام الشركات بالحصول علي عدم م.م.م الهييه قبل الربط الكتروني مع اي منصه. واشراه الي التعميم رقم (280) وتاریخ 2021/28/09 الشركات بالحصول علي م.م.م متها الشركه وعدم مشاركتها مع اي طرف. نود التاكيد علي كافه الاشخاص المرحصين من الهييه بعدم الربط التقني او مشاركه اي بيانات تامينيه مع اي طرف دون الحصول علي عدم ممانعه الهييه، ويتعتين علي الشركات تعبيه نموحج استخدام البيانات ومشاركتها (مرفق واساله الي الهييه عبر البريد الالكتروني DMO@IA.GOV.SA no later than 10/01/2025.
