Subject: Airport Building Charges (ABC) for Domestic Flights. Reference: Minister of Transport Chairman of Board of Directors of Civil Aviation Authority Resolution No. (02/11/76/1441) dated 16/02/1441H. Background: GACA has introduced Airport building charges (ABC) for the use of the passenger terminal building and related facilities, for funding the airports infrastructures development projects and to enhance the level of airports services. Instructions: The following was decided: 1. Collecting a total of SAR (10) ten Saudi Riyal from each passenger (arriving) or (departing) on a domestic flight at any of the airports in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an imposed (ABC) charge for using the airport facilities. 2. Airlines must be committed to collect these charges effective from 01/01/2020. 3. The following categories of passengers are exempted from paying the (ABC) charges and they are as follow: • Infant passengers. - Members of the crew on duty on board (pilot, air engineer, steward or technician assigned. - Members of the crew of the aircraft registered in the list of airline pilots and having an identification card (pilot, engineer, airman or technician). - Transit passengers staying on board and are not willing to use the airport facilities. 2. Coordination shall be made directly between the airlines operating in the airports and the finance departments in the airports to determine the amount of the due financial settlements on the tickets sold before the disseminating date of the of GACA circular, so that the (ABC) charges shall be added to the tickets for the period from 01/01/2020 mentioned in the circular and thereafter. 3. The request for financial settlement shall be reviewed after coordination with the Airport Finance Department and the General Revenue Department of GACA for approval. 4. (ABC) charges for domestic flights are subjected to be reviewed for increase or decrease every three years from 01/01/2020, according to the state of inflation or deflation, and these charges will be included in Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP). ٥. سënخضع اجور استخدام مرافق المطارات للرحلات الداخليه للمراجعه اما بالزياده او التخفيض كل ثالث سنوات اعتبارا من ٢٠٠٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠٥٠١٠ او الانكماش، كما سيتم ادراج هذه الاجور في دليل الطيران السعودي.
