Subject: Requirement for submitting animal import / export requests to the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture using the new electronic link. Reference: 1. Article 23 of the Civil Aviation Law. 2. Circular No.4/53160 Dated 9/3/2021. Instructions: - Airlines must inform passengers that is necessary to submit import/export applications for animals, through the new electronic link (https://naama.sa), before traveling. - Airlines must not ship animal consignments, including those animals accompanied by passengers, without obtaining an import/export permit from the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture. - Failure to comply with circulars issued by GACA is an explicit violation of Government's orders. Legal procedures will be initiated against violators who will be held responsible.
