Subject: The obligation not to Transport animal's consignments without obtaining an import permission from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture Including those accompanying with passenger. الي: شركات الطيران العامله بمطارات المملكه العربيه السعوديه بما يشمل الطيران العام وشركات متاوله الشحن. الموضوع: الالتزام بعدم نقل الارساليات الحيوانيه ومخلفاتها الا بعد الحصول علي اذن استيراد مسبق من وزاره البييه والمواه والزراعه بما فيها ما يرد مع الراكب. Reference: 1- Article (23) of the civil Aviation law issued by Royal Decree No. M/44 dated 18/07/1426 AH. 2- GACA Circular No. (4/1331/1440) dated 20/06/1440 AH. 3- Telegram of the Minster of Environment, Water and Agriculture No. 1439/35/179624 dated 03/03/1442AH. المرجع: 1 - الماده (٢٣) من نظام الطيران المدني الصادر بالمرسوم الملكي رقم (٤٤/٤٧/٧٨) وتاريخ ١٤٤ (١٤٤-١٣٣١/٤) رقم المدني تطويران العامه لطيران و تاريخ ٢٠/٦٠٦ برقيه وزير البييه والصياده والزراعه رقم (١٤٣/٣) وتاريخ 4-1442/2-3 Instructions: التعليمات: 1. All airlines operating at airports in KSA, including general aviation and air cargo handling companies, must adhere not to transport live animals Including those accompanying with passenger, products or by-products any animal biological tools, preparations or anything else within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, unless they provide an approved import permit issued previously by the Ministry. 2. HINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA GACA الهييه العامه للطيران المدني General Authority of Civil Aviation (٢٥١) قطاع السياسات الاقتصاديه والنقل الجحوي تعميم GACA Circular To: Air Operators operating at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's airports. Subject: The obligation not to Transport animal's consignments without obtaining an import permission from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. Reference: 1- Circular NO.4/455/1440 dated 5/3/1441H. 2- Letter of Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Animal Wealth No. (35/179624) dated 23/1/1440. Background: The above letter includes a requirement of the competent authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of refrain from shipping animal consignments without obtaining an import permit from ministry of Environment Water & Agriculture. Instructions: All operators operating at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's airports are obliged not to Transport animal consignments including those joining passenger's in aircraft cabin into the country, until obtaining an import permission issued by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. In case any consignments through carriers without import permissions, the carrier will be obliged to return the consignment to the country of origin.
