Subject: Carrying dangerous and prohibited materials in the passengers' luggage on board (Appendix). Reference: 1. Article No. (23) of Civil Aviation Law. 2. GACA Circular No. (19112/4) dated 07/10/2020. 3. The National Civil Aviation Security Program. Instructions: All airlines operating in the airports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including private aviation, must comply with the following: 1. The security measures mentioned in the national aviation security program for transporting dangerous and prohibited materials. 2. The security programs of airlines operating in the Kingdom airports relating to the dangerous & prohibited materials. 3. Informing travelers by all possible means during the booking process, purchasing tickets and at the check-in counters all procedures & penalties that resulting in from carrying these materials. 4. All passengers must be clearly advised to refrain from carrying any prohibited items at check-in counters or via self-service boarding pass machines. 5. All airlines operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Private Aviation, shall comply with circulars, orders, and instructions issued by GACA.
