اداره التظمه واللوايح الموضوع: الابلزام بالتعامل مع مراكز صيانه المركبات المضيفه Subject: Requirement for companies to deal with classified vehicle centers Dear CEO, Dear CCO, Greetings, Reference to the competencies and mandates vested in Insurance Authority under Insurance Authority under its regulation issued by Cabinet Decision No. (85) dated 28/01/1444 AH, and in reference to the Technical Regulation for Classification of Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Centers issued by the Board of Directors of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization decision No. (164) dated 19/07/1439AH and its updates, and to achieve the objectives of the Insurance Authority, which include encouraging fair competition and providing the best insurance services to customers. We would like to inform you that companies must, as of 1/7/2024 adhere to deal only with vehicle repair centers classified in accordance to the Technical Regulation for Classification of Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Centers issued by Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), and the companies must set the procedures for dealing with these centers, including the time periods taken and the mechanism for completing the repair process.
