Greetings,
With reference to the Insurance Authority's supervisory role as outlined in Council of Ministers Resolution No. (85) dated 28\01\1445H, and the Article (6) of the Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law issued by Royal Decree No (M\32) dated 2/6/1424H, along with its amendments.
We would like to inform you that, effective from 1 \( ^{st} \) February 2025, all Insurance and/or Reinsurance companies are required to obtain Directors & Officers Liability Insurance. The minimum coverage must include liability for:
- Board members, including the Chairman and Vice Chairman.
- Chairs and members of committees emanating from the Board of Directors.
• The CEO/General Director of the company.
The IA will review the circular's contents and enforce necessary regulatory actions, including penalties, against non-compliant companies.

اشاره الي مهام وصلاحيات هييه التامين
بموجب تنظيمها الصادر بقرار مجلس الوزراء
رقم (85) تاريخ 12/28
التامين في المكنه والشراف والرقابه
عليها، واشاره الي ما نصت عليه الماده (6)
من نظام مراقبه شركات التامين التعاوني
(32/م) الصادر بالمرسوم الملكي رقم (م)
وتاريخ 2/4/24/6/2 واتعديدلاته.
نفيدكم انه اعتبارا من تاريخ ٢/١
يعيين علي كافه شركات التامين و / او
اعاده التامين الحصول علي وثيقه تامين
مسؤوليه المدراء والمسؤولين، علي ان
تضمن الوثيقه بحد ادني التغطيه التاليه:
• مسؤوليه اعضاء مجلس الاداره بما فيها
رييس المجلس ونايبه.
• مسؤوليه رييس واعضاء الحنان المنقيه عن
مجلس الاداره.
• مسؤوليه الرييس الاستفيذي/ المدير العام
للشركه.
كما ستقوم الهييه بال متابعه للتحقق من
مدي التزام الشركات فيما تضمنه التعميم،
والتحد الاورات النظاميه Nاللارقه في حال
عدم الالتزام.
