Subject: Ensuring that passengers arriving in the Kingdom have received the poliovirus vaccine. Reference: 1. Article No. (23) of Civil Aviation Law. Instructions: 1. All airlines must ensure that passengers arriving in the Kingdom after departure from, or transit through, countries where poliovirus is circulating, are vaccinated against poliovirus: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mozambique, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, United Republic of Tanzania. 2. Passengers must present a vaccination certificate for oral polio vaccine issued at least (4) weeks prior to arrival and not exceeding (6) months or a vaccination certificate for inactivated polio vaccine issued at least (4) weeks prior to arrival and not exceeding (12) months. 3. Exempted from this requirement are: Transit passengers transiting through the countries listed above, provided that the transit time does not exceed (12) hours, and they do not leave the transit area, and: Transit passengers transiting through the Kingdom from the countries listed above, provided they do not leave the transit area within (12) hours. 4. Airlines shall take necessary precautions at the point of embarkation to ensure that persons are in possession of the documents prescribed by the States of transit and destination. 5. Failure to comply with circulars issued by GACA is an explicit violation of the government's orders. Violators shall be held responsible, and legal procedures shall be initiated against them. Attachment(s): Nil. الي: جميع شركات الطيران العامله بمطارات المملكه العربيه السعوديه بما يشمل الطيران الخاص. الموضوع: التاكد من حصول المسافرين القادمين الي المملكه علي لقاح شل الطفال. المرجع: الماده رقم (٢٣) من نظام الطيران المدني. التعليمات: يجب علي جميع شركات الطيران التاكد من ان الركاب القادمين الي المملكه من الدول التي يوجد خطا التقال فيروس شل الاظفال، قد تم تطعيمهم ضد شلل الاطفال، وذلك من الدول التاليه: افغانستان، باكستان، موزمبقي، جمهوريه الكونغو الديمقراطيه، انغولا، بيين، بوركينا فاسو، الكاميرون، جمهوريه افريقيا الوسطي، نشاد، اتيوبيا، كينيا، ليبيريا، مالي، موريتانيا، النيجر، نيجيريا، جمهوريه الكونغو، سيراليون، الصومال، جنوب السودان، تنزانيا. ٢. يجب ان يكون لدي المسافرين من هذه الفيه شهاده تطعيم بلقاح شل الاطفال الفموي تم اsdارها قبل الوصول الي المملكه بمده لا تقل عن (٤) اسابيع ولا تنجاز (٦) اشهر، او شهاده تطعيم بلقاح شل الاطفال المعطل تم اsdارها قبل الوصول الي المملكه بمده لا تقل عن (٤) اسابيع ولا تتجاز (12) شهرا. ٢. يستثني من ذلك المسافرون العابرون عبر الدول المشار لها اعلاه بشرط (12) ساعه وعدم مغادره منطقه الترانزيت، والمسافرون العابرون عبر المملكه القادمون من الدول المشار لها اعلاه بشرط عدم مغادرتهم منطقه الترانزيت خلال (12) ساعه. ٤. يجب علي شركات الطيران اتخاذ الاحتياطات الضروريه عند نقطه الصعود الي الطايره، للتاكد من حمل الاشخاص للوثايق تحددها دول العبور ودول المقصد. ٥. ان عدم الالتزام بالتعاميم التي تصدرها الهينه يعد مخالفه صريحه للاوامر الحكوميه، ويرتب اتخاذ الاجراءات النظاميه بحق المخالف وتحميله المسؤوليه المترتبه علي ذلك. المرفقات: لا يوجد. رييس الهييه العامه للطيران المدني President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation عبدالعزيز بن عبدالله الدعيلج Abdulaziz A.
